yuletide+birthday season

for someone who's never celebrated xmas as a child and hates punsch and weichnachtsmärkte i crazy LOVE xmas.
i even started playing xmas music! in November.
and this year we're getting a tree. excited beyond words.



and i've had a fab bday. despite sulking all week that i'll be spending the day alone.
last weekend i had a small dinner party and it was fun. courtesy of our new kitchen table.
and bday was spent having a lazy day off followed by tea in haas&haas and best dinner at flein and then a bday cake (tart) and blowing candles at almost midnight. real happy.
