i'm progressively turning into a big mushy mess,
therefore unaccountable.
on one hand, i keep making lists and getting furniture, and talking to the movers, on the other, all i obsess about is where to find a suitable shimmy outfit for a certain gig in cologne (yay!) and how to make better hummus and get more sunshine (it's never warm enough).
additionally,
have decided against any fuckin farewell party, instead will do the usual.
somehow saying goodbye implies not seeing people again and having some kind of a momentum whereas everything i wanna do is drink and dance.
n a random note
this is one of the few concerts i'd really really wish i went to
(cologne, some years ago)
my playlist is mostly ridiculous these days
jaguar love followed by florence, then some gogol bordello and scissor sisters. wtf?

one sheep, two sheep...
there's horror of blood and stitches in my mouth,
but am home and happily sedated and hooked on spooks.

apartment therapy
did my 4th audit and am dead and done.
in short:
found a wonderful flat with rose garden, made an offer, then withdrawn the offer due to panic! (ground floor, etc.)
made an offer for another one. crazy big kitchen. let's see.
had good food and great company at deewan
got somewhat less nervous about moving because you were somehow lovely to me
and next day a ciprian place with plastic tablecloth called rhodos
got even less nervous and finished the day off with one supersweet baklava on the house (thanks to a certain greek person)
then a five day audit hell and crazy 16 hours of working straight
dead&done
but
home.

work.dress.code. bollocks.
the fact that i'll be leaving in a month makes me wake up in cold sweat but is also one
great excuse to
1) stop going to the office altogether
2) (on occasions when i do) get away with almost anything in the clothes department. i've been taking great pleasure in picking and wearing clothes with peculiar names and so far my summer-favourites have been: stirrup leggins (today), seersucker snood (monday) and a boner fide dress (tuesday that is today).
quite fitting for my last visit to the shitty lil town in eifel where as i found out today everybody have the same surname (almost everyone's called hammes) and somehow have a penchant for patti smith. there's a big poster-placard-thingy hangin' at the railway station next to these folks:

table manners not
kurzweil// no time for romance
this summer's one long get-away
and berlin's been lovely in many ways.
coming back last night was surreal.
sprawled on the floor of an overcrowded train for 4 hours (photos don't do it justice), then slept some, by the time we reached frankfurt it was already grey and horrible.
this guy sat on a toilet seat.
